Photoshop Tutorial: How to Add a Motion Trail to a Still Photo

In this Photoshop Tutorial, I will be using Photoshop Cs5 to show you how to add a motion trail to a still photo in Photoshop.

Steps Involved:

Select your person or object and copy it to a new layer. Use the move and transform tools to position a few ghost trails of the person or object. Next adjust the blending mode and opacity, and mask out overlapping edges. Apply a motion blur, and repeat, adjusting size and strength as the trail gets further. For added effect, I create some widescreen bars, and use color adjustment layers to add a tint of color. I also use a fisheye warp transformation as a finishing touch.
