- What version of Premiere Pro will these work on?
If you are using an older version than Premiere Pro CC (12.0.1) (~2018) many of the effects will still work, however any effects such as the VR Glow, or RGB split which use newer updated features may not work for you. I would recommend you sign up for a subscription of the latest version of adobe creative cloud for best results, however feel comfortable still getting the majority of effects to work in slightly older versions. Any hesitations or mistakes feel free to contact me and I will take care of you.
These work great with newer versions like 2020 and beyond as well.
Current version 1.3 updated and working for Premiere Pro 2022+
- Do I need to cut, adjust, or keyframe anything out?
Nope! All the effects have been built to be drag and drop automatically done. No prep work or tedious placement on your end, however they are all fully flexible and mixable should you choose to experiment.
- I’m getting a “this effect requires GPU acceleration” message.
Some of the effects that use the new VR Immersive effects should be applied LAST to avoid getting this message. These are the Glow Transition, and RGB Split. Check your specs and preferences to see if you have GPU acceleration turned off.
- The effects are not playing back or playing back really choppy
Buffering and preview rendering is normal for heavy effects like zoom in and out, or when stacking many heavy effects on the same clip. You can try lowering the preview quality or rending and In (I) Out (O) preview if you see the red line above the timeline.
- Will these work on Slow Mo footage?
When applying certain effects to a clip with speed adjustments on it, right click and nest the clips into their own sequence to avoid any key-framing or timing issues.
- Will these work with adjustment layers?
Certain effects can be applied to adjustment layers without issue to allow you to apply the same look over multiple clips at once and other experimental combinations while some naturally cannot. For example you can’t crop an adjustment layer it acts a crop to everything underneath. Although every effect was made with direct drag and drop use in mind first, adjustment layers can definitely be used in your workflow.
- Can I use these in my commercial projects?
You can use these in your music videos, vlogs, commercials. Paid or free work. The only thing you CANNOT do is resell or repackage or redistribute these presets in any way.
Tips
Mixing and Matching:
from the many dozen unique effects built in here, you can mix and match endless combinations
- try a flicker + glitch + invert transition for a unique result
- try mixing glitch vertical + glitch horizontal for a new effect
- try only adding an invert or lens bump to the B side of the clip for a more impactful variation of the effects on certain clips
Combine with duplicated layers, blending modes, masks, and keyframes for even more possibilities!
Certain effects cannot be properly made into a preset file like blending two layers. Mixing well shot clips, with your own touch, and these effects will result in the most unique and polished look!

Justin really outdid himself with this pack and it shows with the plethora of incredible transitions and effects. Any transition you will ever need is included in this pack and more, I am incredibly satisfied after having the chance to thoroughly test out each effect and transition. The effects that you receive from this pack are incredibly hard to recreate thus why this pack is unique and different from any other effects pack out there. My personal favorite effects are the super 8 and the vhs because they are so spot on that it makes your footage seem like it was shot on an actual vhs recorder. Definitely worth the investment, it will make your footage/videos stand out from the rest with all the exclusive effects and transitions Justin has put in this pack. 100% would recommend purchasing it, don’t waste your time on other transitions packs this one is all that you will need.
